Copy Cat Survey

I saw this Q and A with Alexa Chung on both La Petite Fashionista and The Classic Case, and it was so cute I had to answer for myself! Here are my responses:
1.) Guilty Pleasure: Glee, marshmallows, Avril Lavigne, Pretty Little Liars
2.) Candy Bar: Almond Joy
3.) House Plant: None right now, but I love fresh flowers!
4.) Nail Polish Color: OPI Aphrodite's Pink Nightie
5.) Midnight Snack: Ben & Jerry's Phish Food Ice Cream
6.) Drugstore Essential: Neutrogena makeup remover wipes
7.) Weird Habits: I bite my nails when I'm nervous, eek!
8.) Pet Peeve: People who make noise when they eat

Golden Globes: Helena Bonham Carter

I know some of my fellow fashionistas might disagree with me, but I think Helena Bonham Carter looked fierce walking the red carpet. Attending the Globes in support of her latest flick, The King's Speech, Carter wore a tulle-covered Vivianne Westwood frock, circular shades and a pair of mismatched shoes.

"Every bit of clothing brings out a different part of you. I was thinking wicked fairy witch," Carter told Alexa Chung, host for NBC. "If you are going to spend three hours getting ready, you might as well go for it."

Carter's outfit wasn't exactly sophisticated chic but at least it was memorable, and her confidence is inspiring!

Readers--what did you think of Carter's look? Do you like the Christmas-colored footwear? Or do you prefer this vintage-inspired look from the BAFTA tea party earlier this week?

Alexa Chung for Madewell

After much anticipation, Alexa Chung's line for Madewell has finally arrived!  Feminine and flirty, the collection is filled with fall essentials like these two polka dot numbers.

Readers, what do you think of the Chung/Madewell collaboration? Will you be shopping the line for fall?

Sorry for posting something that's all over the blog-o-sphere, I just think these pieces are fabulous :)
